Being Intentional, Rediscovering the Why
Being Intentional, Rediscovering the Why
Mindfulness for experienced professionals struggling with their purpose.
The career as a term can be such a misnomer. It is supposed to give an individual a purpose and a sense of fulfillment. Instead, most of us tend to tiptoe around a successful career to rediscover a sense of purpose.
Here are a few things to find out if you are stuck in such a loop -
Work over Passion
It starts to feel like a series of tasks being accomplished for a larger entity than your own self.
The innocent curiosity of a fresh start has long since faded.
The career you started as a passion, is starting to feel more like a day job.
Breaks or Vacations
The much-needed vacation starts to take shape in your head as a much-needed break.
It’s the frequency of these breaks instead of excitement to explore something new.
Change in Habits
This one is tricky. We don’t even realize but over the years the change in our habits reveals so much about ourselves.
Some for good while some demand a retrospective look.
The way I look at it is that any habit intentionally picked up or given up is a sign of a healthy mind.
